This week we enjoyed beginning our new math topic- shape. We explored 2D shape properties through construction, sensory, ICT and a fun team quiz.
In the afternoon we made flower thank you cards after receiving a generous donation for the polytunnel project.

Easter Fun
P2/3 started the morning with a nice relaxing art activity, focusing on what makes us all so special and unique. We used mirrors to create a self portrait.
In the afternoon we had a busy lively classroom with P2/3 and the nursery pupils together. We shared our creative writing pieces with the nursery children, they really enjoyed all our stories and we loved having them as part of our classroom.

P2/3 actively engaged in their first drama lesson this week. We were moving our bodies with control and purpose, conveying different actions. In PE we focused on partner balances using the bench.

Happy World Book Day from P2/3
We have had lots of fun today with our literacy based learning activities for World Book Day.
P2/3 created character puppets, designed front covers, shared their favorite books and enjoyed a funny game of character based-who am I?
23/02/23
P2/3 had a very active start to the day with circuits in PE. We completed 6 different movements timing for 30 seconds each. We enjoyed supporting our class by cheering and counting.
In the afternoon we shared our holiday news and created some excellent recounts in writing.
We have been practicing using ICT to enhance our learning during our mental maths lessons. P2/3 are really enjoying Sumdog and hope to share it with you at home soon. Mrs Law
