STEM

Making a cup tower without touching the cups. A piece of string, scissors and one elastic band only to be used.

They all mastered it finally.

Numeracy - Using timers to time how long different activites take.

Art - Making the most of the glorious weather. Observational drawings of eyes and their sockets.

Numeracy - Thinking up their own activities to time and selecting the right type of timer.

STEM - Creating a marble run with paper plates, tape, scissors and lasy.

Poly tunnel - Outdoor learning in groups with lots of wonderful helpers.

Using clay to create our eye design.

Pop Art - Inspired by Andy Warhol.

In celebration of the Coronation of King Charles 3rd, we created this collaborative piece of art work.

Outdoor Learning

Busy again with our great helpers, working both inside and outside the poly tunnel. Some were planted, some were gate building and others were adding a roof to the bug hotel we made in the Autumn and sorting through our compost pile.

Literacy - through Drama.

Literacy - Using Drama again. This time making a conscious tunnel, sharing Varjak's conflicting thoughts.

Having a brain break and following dance challenges proves to be popular.

Measure - Estimating then measuring the capacity of each container.

Poly Tunnel Work - It really is looking stunning and the plants have already grown so much in this warm weather.

Holding a leaving party outside. Flapping fish and corners were a big hit.

Dancing with Heather - In an hour we managed to learn a new dance routine.
