P6/7

What we Did in Term 2 - by Else

There were lots of exciting things which happened in Term 2. Here are the best:

• Volunteering. Marie came in to give us a short talk about volunteering, and how we can do it.

• Halloween Party. Primary 4 to 7 had lots of fun at the disco.

• The  Great Nethy Bake Off! Everyone had a great time trying all the cake that came out of the 3 rounds.

• Practising for the Christmas Show. 

• Bubblegum & Fluff. The P6s went to Bubblegum and Fluff to learn about Christmas.

• Letter to Santa. Everyone wrote a letter to Santa as a writing assessment.

• The Grantown Grammar School Pantomime. Our class, along with P6/7 from a number of other schools went to watch the dress rehearsal of The Jungle Book.

• The Advent Calender. Everyone made a small picture and we put them together to make an advent calendar in the shape of The Snowman.

• The Christmas Show! Our class got to stay at school before the show and have pizza and watch a movie, before performing to all of our parents!

• The Christmas Party. Primary 4 to 7’s Christmas party was great!

• Mandarin. Throughout Term 2 we have been doing Mandarin with Mrs. Ma.
